Robert Kiyosaki - Conspirary of the Rich Online Exclusive Update #25 - Is China Next?

What Would Happen to You if China’s Economy Collapsed?

In 2003, Richard Duncan’s groundbreaking book, The Dollar Crisis, exposed the inevitable fall of the dollar – even as the stock markets were roaring back to life. Today, much of what Duncan predicted is coming true.

Now, in his latest book, The Corruption of Capitalism, Duncan takes a hard look at the relationship between China and the US. In his latest Conspiracy of the Rich bulletin, Robert gives you exclusive quotes from Duncan’s new book and explains what the fall of China will mean for you and your money.

"So is the crisis over? I don’t think so. We are, as Richard Duncan states, in the New Depression. This is why The 8 New Rules of Money are important. The rules of money have changed, and we need to change with them – or we’re toast."

– Excerpt from Robert’s Conspiracy of the Rich bulletin

How to Gain Control
of Your Emotions

When we have lost someone close to us for whatever reason, it can be an emotionally devastating experience. This trauma sometimes gains momentum instead of slowing or calming down, and that’s when it becomes critical to both your mental and physical health to gain control over it. While this can sound like an impossible feat if you are in the middle of your grief process, if you take it step by step you will have a much easier time of it. Break your goal of recovery into manageable chunks.

Change Your Routine
It’s been said by some psychologists that if you break your physical routine you can make it easier to break a mental routine. For instance, if you have a morning routine where you do things in a certain order, start doing them in a different order. Put your left sock on before your right for a change, or brush your teeth before you shower if you usually do it the other way around. Put a post-it note on your mirror to remind yourself if you have to. This is often the best first step—changing habits to change your thinking.

Hold Loss Conferences with Friends and Family

Besides providing you with a pre-formed group for support, you are also acknowledging that you are not alone. You are recognizing that others have also experienced loss, and you can then form a coalition and work on ways to deal with the emotions. This is especially reassuring for children, who sometimes become afraid that they will lose others as well as the one they have already lost.

Write in a Journal

Whether you show it to others or not is of no importance. This journal is not intended to make you an overnight novelist. It is, however, a tool for you to use to get at the deepest part of you. Often looking at your surroundings for a prompt will get you writing when you think you have nothing to write. Open your journal and look at your surroundings. Pick an object, like a window or chair, and write about how it relates to your loss. If you can’t make the object a metaphor for loss or healing, try deliberately writing about something unrelated to the loss, like an ice cream cone you had or a sound you heard in the street that day. Somewhere in there a kernel of your emotions will shine through and contribute to your healing.

Laugh, Laugh, and Then Laugh Again
Go see a comedy movie. Go see a stand-up comedian at your local comedy club. If you want to make the experience even better, take a lot of friends or family. Organize it yourself, and ask as many people as you can to attend. You are not only going to end up attending an uplifting event, but you are also going to be performing positive actions, like phone calls or e-mails encouraging people to join you.

These suggestions are just the beginning of all the things you can do for yourself. And remember that your healing won’t come overnight. Do whatever you can do to help yourself stop the downward spirals. Healing will take some time and nurturing.

Keeping Motivated in Your Life by Lily St. Thomas

Sometimes we get stuck in life and feel like all of our motivation has left us. We feel like life has become routine and boring, and nothing will get us off the couch again. There is hope!

Motivation is how we feel when we have something to strive for, such as a goal or incentive. We feel motivated by all kinds of things in life, including money, family, love, friends, fitness, religion and so on. But what happens when you feel you have it all, and you have reached a dead end? Review the following ideas, thoughts and suggestions to see how you can find your motivation again. Don't fret. It still exists within you; it just went AWOL for awhile. Here are a few tips to help you remotivate.

Think Back
Think about when you first lost your motivation. Was it after a scenario at work? Was it after a successful moment? Was it when a friend said something that struck a personal chord? Did you receive negative feedback about your work performance or about yourself? When did you feel the drop in motivation? How long has it lasted? Sometimes a small factor can make us lose our motivation, and even having success can be a factor. The fear of success is common with a lot of people, and they feel scared that they won't know what to do with it after they achieve it. They have the "what now?" complex, so they manage to avoid progress. Once you realize exactly what triggered this lack of motivation phase, you can find out ways to get it back.

Keep Your Balance
Have you kept a balance between the basic essentials such as work, personal needs, family and health? Sometimes we get so caught up in all the obligatory demands that we slack in other areas of our lives. Letting work take over our lives is unhealthy and could cause emotional and physical conditions. Make sure you are eating well, sleeping well, spending time with family and taking time for you. If you can, try to leave work at work. You might find that your energy will shoot right up after you get balance back into your life.

Write it Down
If you are still sitting on the couch and are afraid to get moving still, then start writing down a list of things you need to accomplish today or this week. Take small steps and do not push yourself too hard or overwhelm yourself. Write down basics and start with home life, and then move onto work tasks. We spend a lot more time worrying about what we are doing at work than what we will do with our families. Prioritize. Lists are a great way to create goals and get us motivated again.

Get Started—It's Time
Start small and move yourself off the couch, and to the shower. A shower can be invigorating and rejuvenating. When you have dried off and changed, go to the list that you just made. Start with number one and move down the list. Motivation comes with action, and you will begin to feel a sense of purpose and productivity once you make it through a few tasks. Don't hesitate. Life is too precious to waste it away on the couch.

I received the Rich Woman Community News email yesterday

Rich Woman Community News

Dear Friends,

I hope you enjoyed the festive holiday season and are looking forward to the near year and new decade!

At the end of each year, Robert and I take stock of our progress over the past year and set new goals for ourselves for the coming year. I encourage you to do the same.

Like most people, you may create health, relationship, and professional goals, and that’s great. Make sure you also set financial goals for yourself. If you are new to investing, your goal may be to educate yourself to the point where you are ready to purchase your first asset. Or you may already have an asset and want to buy or create more, or get more cash flow from assets you already have.

Now that we are into a new year, keep your eyes open for new opportunities. We’re going through a time of great change, and while that can bring challenges it can also bring opportunities. There’s a saying that “Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.” So prepare yourself now to take advantage of the opportunities that 2010 has to offer.

On behalf of myself and the entire Rich Woman team, we wish you a very prosperous New Year!

All the best,
Kim Kiyosaki

Friday Story from Bob Proctor 01/08/10

Here is your Friday story,

My New Years Resolutions

I want to be happy for no reason this year except that I am here and alive and I claim this moment as my own. It's mine. Its got my name on it!

This year, I want to spend more time in nature, not on the path near my home, with its iPods, and cell phones and incessant chatter, but deep in a forest, where the earth recognizes my step, and the ground kisses my feet as I walk.

This year, I want to say no, more often, and not feel guilty, and say yes, more often, and not feel embarrassed.

I want to take the time to grieve fully this year, for those people that I have lost and mourn those things that I shall never have or be again.

I want to hear the sounds of creation and I can't tell you what those sounds are, because I have never really heard them before. I 've been too busy for that. But their music beckons to me in the stillness when I have finally given up my need to control.

I want to see, really see the sights of the universe and I can't tell you what those sights are, because I have never really seen them before. I've had my eyes closed. But their vision haunts me in my dreams and gently calls forth to me in my waking hours.

I want to take the child in me out to play more this year and step in mud puddles, get my feet wet, eat cotton candy, build a snowman, talk to strangers, kiss furry dogs and chase mangy cats.

This year I want to eat my spaghetti with a fork and forget about the spoon and get my face really dirty.

I want to get to know my teddy bear more this year. After all, he is really the only one who has always been there for me, in my darkest hour, comforting me and whispering sweet messages into my heart, that were more accurate than any psychic ever could be.

I want to see the world with new eyes this year, as if I have never seen it before, like an alien on an unfamiliar planet, and not take anything for granted.

This year, I want to talk less and say more. I want to taste more and eat less.

I want to write more about those things that really matter to me, with passion, the things that I know in my gut, the things that stir up my soul, and not give a damn about keywords or tags or where I rank in Google.

I want to sit with a flower this year and watch it bloom, and know what it feels like to finally surrender to life, to succumb to a purpose bigger than my own.

I want to talk to the moon and bask in the sun and gaze at the stars for hours and hours.

I want to be much more silly this year, and care much less about what people think of me. I have forgotten just how much fun being silly can be.

I want to laugh, harder than I have ever laughed before. And cry less for all of the pain and suffering that I think I can't fix, because I know that I can. Every time that I make the choice to be free, there is less suffering in the world, not a world with less pain, but less pain in the world.

I want to love more this year, not the sappy, greeting card kind of love they sell on Valentine's day cards, but a love that surpasses all distance, time, space and differences.

This year, I want to make friends with those parts of me that I am afraid of and attempt to do those things that still scare me to death. Well, at least some of them.

I want to appreciate more and complain less, accept more and judge less, forgive more and blame less. I want to ultimately do nothing and allow everything.

This year I want to break open the windows of my life and knock down the doors, remove the shackles and stare down the illusion until it sets me free.

So you won't find goals here or projects or timelines or objectives or plans or directions or bucket lists or targets. You'll only find me.

Are Your Prepared to Make 2010 The Best of Times?

As 2009 comes to a close, the recession is still raging. Many people are losing it all as the economic storm marches on. For some, this is the worst of times. But for others, this is the best of times.

In his latest Conspiracy of the Rich bulletin, Robert shares how you can make 2010 your best year ever – even as others are wiped out.

"In 2009, the world faced an even bigger financial crisis than in 1989 – one that is still growing. For many people, the next few years will be the worst of times. For others, the next few years will be the opportunity of a lifetime."
