TUCSON, Ariz. -- Four teenage girls were arrested Monday for allegedly trying to smuggle heroin into southern Arizona.

Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents working at the Interstate 19 checkpoint south of Amado, Ariz., referred a commercial shuttle for inspection.

After a 15-year-old passenger behaved nervously during questioning, agents searched her bags and reportedly found bundles of heroin.

The agents searched the other passengers and found three other teens with bundles of heroin tucked into their waistbands, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

The juveniles' names have not been released, but authorities said they were between the ages of 15 and 17.
