“It’s really important that you feel good. Because this feeling good is what goes out as a signal into the universe and starts to attract more of itself to you. So the more you can feel good, the more you will attract the things that help you feel good and that will keep bringing you up higher and higher” – Joe Vitale

Article: Compassion is never a sign of weakness. It’s a sign of greatness.
As a health care leader today, I have the honor and privilege of working with so many talented and exceptionally intelligent individuals. Among the many challenges inherent to the health care industry, I am reminded that as a physician leader, compassion goes a long way. It is not a coincidence that recent studies support that allowing physicians the time and encouraging opportunities “to care” improves health outcomes and reduces instances of physician burnout. When patients perceive compassion from physicians, they develop greater trust in the medical profession. Unfortunately, I have also seen how an individual’s compassion and kindness may be misinterpreted by others as a sign of weakness. Compassion is not an indication of a leader’s vulnerability, but rather a differentiator revealing inner strength and confidence.
As a physician leader, your team looks up to you whether you are cognitively aware of it or not. Compassion can be contagious that can lead to a positive and flourishing work environment. If you desire a team that shares your vision, priorities, and work ethic, is effective and high performing, compassion will always be part of the path to true and lasting success.
Technology: Jeff Bezos's Blue Origin launches 12th test flight of space tourism rocket
New York (CNN Business)Blue Origin, the stealthy company founded by Amazon's billionaire founder Jeff Bezos, just launched another test flight of its tourism rocket as it steadily inches toward sending paying customers into space.
The rocket took off from a test site in rural Texas on Wednesday and soared more than 60 miles into the upper atmosphere, across the boundary that is widely considered the edge of space.
It marked the 12th uncrewed test flight for Blue Origin's fully autonomous rocket and spacecraft system, called New Shepard. And it could be one of the last before the company is ready to start flying paying customers, though it's not clear exactly when the company will reach that milestone.

Technology: Europe is sending a robot to clean up space. Why is the junk there in the first place?
Hong Kong (CNN Business)A self-destructing robot will be sent into orbit on the world's first space cleanup mission, European scientists announced Monday, a fresh approach to fixing up the galaxy's junk graveyard.
Our orbit is filled with garbage, including chunks of dead satellites, discarded rockets, and paint flecks that have fallen off them. The mission, named ClearSpace-1, will take the first step in tidying up this extraterrestrial wasteland, according to the European Space Agency (ESA).

Salmon with Cucumber Chili Salad - Healthy Food Tip and Recipe
Enjoy this refreshing salmon salad for lunch or dinner as part of your Healthiest Way of Eating. It is an excellent source of vitamin D and provides 105% of the Daily Value for omega-3 fatty acids. Enjoy!
Prep and Cook Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
- 11/2 lb salmon fillet, deboned and skin removed cut into 4 pieces
- 3 cups thinly sliced washed cucumber, do not peel
- 2 tsp minced jalapeno pepper*, seeds and stem removed
- 1/2 cup chopped scallion
- 3 TBS chopped fresh cilantro
- 11/2 TBS chopped fresh mint
- Dressing
- 2 + 1 TBS fresh lemon juice
- 1 TBS soy sauce
- 1 TBS extra virgin olive oil
- salt and cracked black pepper to taste
- *if you like food less spicy, use less jalapeno pepper
Directions:
- To Quick Broil salmon, preheat broiler and place an all stainless steel skillet (be sure the handle is also stainless steel) or cast iron pan under the heat for about 10 minutes to get it very hot. The pan should be 5 to 7 inches from the heat source.
- Rub salmon with 2 tsp fresh lemon juice, salt and pepper. (You can Quick Broil with the skin on; it just takes a minute or two longer. The skin will peel right off after cooking.)
- While pan is heating, prepare the remaining five ingredients.
- Using a hot pad, pull pan away from heat and place salmon on hot pan, skin side down. Return to broiler. Keep in mind that it is cooking rapidly on both sides so it will be done very quickly, usually in 7 minutes depending on thickness. Test with a fork for doneness. It will flake easily when it is cooked. Salmon is best when it is still pink inside.
- While salmon is cooking, whisk together lemon juice, soy sauce, olive oil, salt and pepper. When ready to serve toss with cucumber mixture. Do not toss ahead as it will dilute the flavor.
- Place cucumber salad on a platter and place salmon on top. Garnish with a sprig of cilantro and serve.
