Elise’s Sesame Noodles
Published Apr 17, 2014
It’s Takeout Thursday, which means we’re making a lightened up version of a restaurant favorite: sesame noodles. This recipe uses healthy whole wheat spaghetti as the base, with a dose of antioxidant-rich veggies in the form of red bell peppers and green snow pea pods. An Asian-inspired sauce adds plenty of flavor but little calories: There are just 345 per serving in this simple, quick-to-toss-together vegetarian dish. Put down that Chinese takeout menu – you can make this guilt-free meal right at home in 10 minutes!
