Your Daily Dose of Inspirations by Tom Birkenmeyer

It's not about me, its about you. And from your perspective it's not about you, it's about the lives you impact. Selfish people are never happy because we were not wired to find happiness by making ourselves happy. We are HARD wired to find our happiness by helping others find their happiness. Ever notice how the person who asks, "how can I make myself happy" never really finds it? Network marketing is the perfect business because it reflects human nature perfectly rather than fighting human nature, and that is why nothing pays as good as network marketing. Having a job and only a job, in my view, is equivalent to stealing money and nourishment from yourself and your family. I've been ridiculed dearly for saying such things. But I digress; its' NOT about me, it's about you, and, from your perspective, it's about the lives YOU impact.

You do NOT need to be motivated to succeed, contrary to popular opinion.  You just need to be absolutely committed.  Most people are dead broke and not very happy.  Most people will try to sell you on motivation.  Because we know most people are wrong, find out what they are doing, what they believe, how they speak, what books they read, what they watch, how they spend their money, how they spend their time, and do the exact opposite.  Think and do opposite and you will be unusually successful.   Motivation is fine but it won't carry you through the long term.  Some days you will not feel like doing, "the thing" and you won't do it if you took the advice of everyone else and relied on being motivated.  Commitment, however, WILL carry you through the day and through the long term.

The Public Relations people for the colleges are very talented sales people.  College education is great, but if one of your goals is to get ahead financially then there are far more effective and less expensive ways to get the education you're looking for to get ahead.
